嘉宾简介：周榆钧，清华大学经济管理学院在读博士研究生，主要研究方向为公司金融、企业创新与劳动经济，关注技术变革与经济资源配置之间的关系，以及劳动力市场与资本市场中的信息传递效率。研究成果发表于《经济学报》等期刊，工作论文曾入选CICF、Midwest Macroeconomics Meetings、《中国工业经济》应用经济学前沿论坛等学术会议。曾获清华大学格林伯格-高水平学术就业潜力奖学金。

内容摘要：Industrial robots transform the production of information as well as goods. We leverage generative AI to identify industrial robot adoption among U.S. public firms from 2009 to 2021 and examine its effects on corporate information production. Instrumental-variable estimates exploiting European robot diffusion show that robot adoption leads to more quantitative, firm-specific, and readable disclosures, more earnings guidance, faster audits, and smaller subsequent analyst forecast errors. These improvements in readability, earnings guidance, and forecast accuracy are stronger among firms with greater employee data capacity. The evidence connects real-side automation to the information available to capital markets.
